JOHN KERRY, IN HIS OWN WORDS.

By Randal Rust

I picked up John Kerry's book 'A Call To Service,' because I wanted to
see what he had to say. I am a Republican, and I am voting for Bush,
but I think it's fair to see what Kerry has to say in his own words.

I found this interesting quote on page 50:

'There's one thing you cannot take away from President Bush: He did
establish beyond a shadow of a doubt the credibility of U.S. threats
to use military force against our enemies.'

On the same page, leading off the next paragraph, he says, 'The Bush
administration is by no means the only culprit in the breakdown in
U.S.-UN relations over Iraq. France, Germany, and Russia never
supported or offered a feasible policy to verify that UN resolutions
on Iraq were actually being carried out.'

Kerry of course continues on, but it's quite a different view of
things than he is presenting these days. He seems to have strayed far
from his manifesto.

I encourage anyone who is going to vote (which should be everyone) to
pick up Kerry's book, read it, and compare it to what he is saying
these days.
