It's been awhile since I posted an update on the twins. At 30 weeks, Michelle came home, only to be sent back to the hospital five days later, where she stayed until she reached 36 weeks.
Now, we are just one week away from bringing our little miracles into the world.
No one, not even the doctors, thought that we would make it this far.
On the kitchen counter at home, I have a yellow notepad that I have kept track of the days until we reach 38 weeks. I started my countdown at 115 days. Today is day 6. Next Wednesday is day 0.
Each of the boys will get a copy of the countdown in their baby books. I will keep the original, and probably fold it up and keep it somewhere. Every now and then, I'll probably take it out and look at it and remember the Summer of 2003, when the Lord put us to the test. We haven't passed yet, but hopefully soon.
