We reached 30 weeks yesterday, and were told later in the day that Michelle can come home on Saturday.
This is a good thing and a bad thing. While it will be nice not to have to make the daily trip to the hospital, I will have the burden of taking care of both her and Jake.
I think Jacob is excited. He seemed to understand when I told him this morning.
An ultrasound was done on the twins yesterday. They are now 3.5 and 3.11 ounces and growing daily. You would think they are running out of room the way body parts frequently surface.
We were able to get pictures of their faces, and although they are grainy ultrasound photos, it is pretty cool. Baby B actually yawned while we were watching. The nurse was quick enough to snap a photo, so we have that too.
For those who have never experienced twins, they label them as Baby A and Baby B. Of course, we have names for them, but I'm keeping a lid on that for a few more weeks.
