PINS AND NEEDLES.

By Randal Rust

Rory mentioned yesterday that my blog has been awfully quiet lately.

I have been tied up with some family issues for the past six weeks. My wife, pregnant with twin boys, was placed on bedrest at home in early July. When the situation grew worse, she was sent to the hospital, where she will be until the babies are born.

The babies still need to stay in the womb for another two weeks before they can be born, so, as you might understand, we have been on pins and needles for some time.

Even after we get through these two weeks, we hope that the babies are not born until sometime in September. They will still be premature, but all major development should be complete and they have much less risk of physical problems.

While this has been a very, very difficult time for our family, especially Jacob, who misses his Mommy being at home, it has made us all a little stonger, increased our faith in the Lord's will and helped us focus more on the essential things in life.
