It seems to me, after the about-face that France and Turkey have done, that a lot of people don't think that George Bush means what he says.
Within the past 24 hours, we've seen France reverse position and say that if chemical weapons are used, that they will support our actions in Iraq. And the Turks suddenly are allowing the U.S. to fly over their airspace.
I just get the feeling that people didn't think Bush was serious when he said he was going to war without the U.N. if necessary.
Let's get a couple of things straight about Mr. Bush. During my professional career, he's the only President that's put money back in my pocket. He's the only President who continually backs up what he says he's going to do. And he's the only President who has made the world stand up and enforce the resolutions passed by the U.N. Security Council against Iraq.
Then again, my only other frame of reference is Bill Clinton.
