As the United States and its allies sit on the brink of invading Iraq, I can't help but wonder just what it is all these anti-war protesters actually stand for.
They are so vehemently against war, but where were all of them when Saddam Hussein was gassing his own villages? If you are one of these people who is against this war, and you know about Hussein's horrible crimes against his own people, then you really need to do some reading about the German people who turned their heads while the Nazis slaughtered thousands of Jews.
Anyone who thinks that Saddam Hussein remaining as the ruler of Iraq is a good idea needs to have their sanity questioned.
It just seems to me that there are a lot of people in this country, mostly of the liberal ilk, who will take up the cause for anything, regardless of the facts, regardless of what is obviously right.
