Wrox Press, Friends of Ed and Glasshaus, publishers of Web development books, have all ceased operations. This is a result of parent company Peer Information Group going into liquidation.
As I have moved from Web designer to developer, books from Friends of Ed and Glasshaus have been invaluable. They were written in a much friendlier, less technical fashion than anything else out there - including Wrox, which was a breath of fresh air.
